Biography

An AOR band WHAT IF? comprised ex AIRPLAY vocalist TOMMY FUNDERBURK, former EYE TO EYE and YELLOW JACKETS man Larry Williams, drummer Bob Wilson and a guesting MICHAEL LANDAU on guitar. The band's self-titled album included a version of the GLEN BURTNICK written 'Perfect World'.

Subsequently, Funderburk formed the KING OF HEARTS duo with BRUCE GAITSCH. Significantly, he also sang lead vocals of BOSTON's album 'Walk On' in 1994. As an in demand session singer Funderburk has featured on albums by the likes of MȪTLEY CRÜE, YES, WHITESNAKE, REO SPEEDWAGON, COVERDALE / PAGE, STARSHIP and RICHARD MARX amongst many others. Working with producer Fabrizio V.Zee Grossi he cut a debut solo album 'Anything For You' for the Italian Frontiers label in 2004.
