TWO FIRES is THE STORM duo of singer Kevin Chalfant, also ex-707 and STEELBREEZE, and guitarist Josh Ramos, previously with LE MANS. The album sees a contribution from SURVIVOR's guitarist JIM PETERIK. Both Chalfant and Peterik would contribute to NIGHT RANGER man KELLY KEAGY's 2001 solo album. TWO FIRES returned with the February 2002 'Ignition' album. The album would witness a resumption of songwriting duties for Peterik and contributions from FOREIGNER keyboard player Jeff Jacobs and seasoned session drummer Atma Anur, the latter an established and much in demand veteran of the scene citing credits with TONY McALPINE, VICIOUS RUMORS and STEVE PERRY amongst many others.

Ramos would guest on the 2002 ROBERT FLEISCHMAN's 'World In Your Eyes' album and would also appear on the HARDLINE album release of the same year, appearing with the band live at the British 'Gods' festival the same year. Later during 2002 the guitarist revealed the formation of a fresh outfit simply billed as RAMOS. This new venture, cutting an album produced by Kelly Hansen of HURRICANE repute, saw Ramos in collaboration with former MALICE, ODIN, IMPELLITERRI and EYES vocalist Mark Weitz, ACCOMPLICE bassist Scott Snyder and drummer Atma Anur. Keyboard players Russ Greene and Michael T. Rossand fabled bass player Stu Hamm would also contribute.

A further RAMOS album, recorded throughout 2006, involved Ramos, singer Don Chaffin, HARDLINE bassist Jamie Brown, CHINA BLUE keyboard player Eric Ragno and the YNGWIE MALMSTEEN credited John Macaluso on drums.

During 2008 Josh Ramos hooked up with the HUGO, OPEN SKYZ and VALENTINE credited vocalist Hugo to convene RAMOS-HUGO for an October album 'The Dream'.
