Biography

In 2004, Toronto born guitarist PAT TRAVERS announced the foundation of a new band project in union with another veteran performer, drummer CARMINE APPICE, a scene campaigner of VANILLA FUDGE and OZZY OSBOURNE amongst many others, and VANILLA FUDGE touring bassist TM Stevens. This band would initially go by the title of TNA ('Travers n' Appice') until just days after this announcement another band was discovered with the same name. The project switched to simply TRAVERS & APPICE for the album 'It Takes A Lot Of Balls'. By January of 2005 the duo were back in a Los Angeles recording studio laying down new versions of PAT TRAVERS and CACTUS material with former BLUE MURDER and THE FIRM bassist TONY FRANKLIN. The STEVE VAI credited bassist T.M. STEVENS joined the band for road work.

TRAVERS & APPICE recorded a live album, 'Live At The House Of Blues', in September 2004 in Myrtle Beach for Escapi Records. A studio album, 'Bazooka', emerged in 2006. Included would be cover versions of STEVIE WONDER's 'Superstitious' and CREAM's 'Politician'.
