Biography
Announced in 2005, THE SIDEFX boasted a high profile line-up of established Rock and Metal talent in vocalist PAUL SHORTINO, of ROUGH CUTT and QUIET RIOT repute, guitarist Ira Black, from VICIOUS RUMORS and HEATHEN, bassist Uriah Duffy of WHITESNAKE, replacing original four-stringer Matt Thorn of ROUGH CUTT, and drummer Patrick Johansson from the YNGWIE MALMSTEEN band. Demos would be aired in November.
Drummer Patrick Johansson joined the ranks of W.A.S.P. in February 2006. The industrious skinsman, working with former members of 5SKIN, also founded KINLIN to record an album. Ira Black enrolled himself into the re-formulated LIZZY BORDEN in April 2006.
