Biography

T.S.O.L. men vocalist Jack Grisham and guitarist Ron Emory founded THE JOYKILLER in 1995 with former GUN CLUB and WEIRDOS bassist Billy Persons and drummer Chris Lagerborg for an eponymous album.

Later versions of THE JOYKILLER saw noted Gangsta Rap producer Ronnie King on keyboards and Sean Greaves on guitar, previously with THE LEWD. Drummer Craig Anderson was replaced by Billy Blaze.

Lagerborg deputized on the 1997 DOWN BY LAW album 'Last Of The Sharpshooters'.

JACK GRISHAM was later to cut a solo album working with Jay Smith of THE DERITA SISTERS, Persons, Greaves and King. Grisham also operated another act in paralell titled THE GO in union with ADOLESCENTS / T.S.O.L. guitarist Frank Agnew.

Greaves would form part of MIKE NESS's band for his 1999 album 'Under The Influences'.
