THE HANGMEN

Members

Biography

Sleaze Rockers produced by Vic Maile. Despite their undoubted class THE HANGMEN unfortunately came around at a time when Gutter Metal bands were ten a penny. THE HANGMEN came up with a self-titled debut album for Capitol Records that enabled them to tour throughout America in 1990, but, following rumours of a second album being consigned to the vaults, lost their deal. Drummer Lenny Montoya went on to join LEAVING TRAINS.

The group marked a return in 2001 with the album 'Metallic I.O.U.' For these recordings only vocalist / guitarist Bryan Small remained from the first album with new recruits numbering guitarist Jimmy James, bassist Laura 'Lucky' Bennet with Dino Guerrero on the drums. 'We've Got Blood On The Toes Of Our Boots' arrived in 2002 featuring yet another near complete overhaul of musicians with Small and James complemented by Angelique Congleton on bass of Dallas outfits MEAT HELMETS and A FEAST OF SNAKES with Todd Harvey on drums.

THE HANGMEN, now with Rane Raitsikka on guitar, recorded new album tracks in 2004 dubbed 'Loteria', including a cover of the ROLLING STONES 'Citadel'.
