Formed by ex KANSAS vocalist STEVE WALSH and former CITY BOY guitarist Mike Slamer, STREETS immediately earnt the respect of the Rock fraternity with a strong debut album for the Atlantic label entitled, appropriately enough, 'Streets 1st'. STREETS toured through America promoting the debut record the group's long awaited second album, 'Crimes In Mind', found the STREETS songwriting team bolstered by the addition of Randy Goodrun, STREETS adopting a heavier approach as a result it would seem.

However, tempted by an offer to rejoin KANSAS Walsh split the group not long after the second album was released and returned to the fray in 1986 on KANSAS' comeback album 'Power'.

1988 Greer had joined JOSHUA, performing on their 'Intense Defence' album. Slamer involved himself in the world of production and scored credits on such high profile albums by artists like HARDLINE, BIG BANG BABIES and HOUSE OF LORDS. He was also to assist in the guitar work on the debut WARRANT album.

Slamer would make his return as a solo artist, of sorts, playing on and producing the debut album from STEELHOUSE LANE during early 1998. This group had originally been assembled as a recording project by Slamer alongside drummer Tim Gehrt and ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN vocalist MARK BOALS, although neither was involved on the record. 2000 found Greer as a member of AOR supergroup THE SIGN.

Mike Slamer partnered with singer STRANGEWAYS, THE SIGN and PHANTOM'S OPERA singer TERRY BROCK for the September 2006 SLAMER album 'Nowhere Land'. Billy Greer also featured.
