Biography
SINOPOLI is the solo vehicle of ANGRY TEARS vocalist Joey Sinopoli. A multitude of guests appeared on the 2001 album 'Don't Bleed On My Parade'. Included were GARBO TALKS man Steve Thomas, PROPHET's Kenny Dubman and Jazz notorary Frankie Cicala all laid down guitar. Drums were supplied by Steve werner of ACE FREHLEY and LESLIE WEST, Phil Florio from GLEN BURTNICK's band and ANGRY TEARS colleague Andres Karu.
Sinopoli traded vocals with Dean Fasano of MESSAGE on the track 'Love By Numbers'. BIRTH singer Dee Farace also lent a hand as did keyboard layer Tony Nardini along with ANGRY TEARS bassist Nicky. Songwriters involved were ANGRY TEARS / BATON ROUGE / SURGIN guitarist Jack Ponti and Kelly Keeling of BATON ROUGE and MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP.
It would be learned in early 2002 that tracks for a projected 2002 SINOPOLI album release would include a cover version of DAVID BOWIE's 'Moonage Daydream', produced by the esteemed pairing of Eddie Kramer and former ACE FREHLEY bassist John Regan. Jack Ponti would guest once again on guitar.
