A Progressive Rock endeavour fired up in 2004 by guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, mastermind behind esteemed Thrash Metal veterans METAL CHURCH as well as the highly regarded VANDERHOOF and HALL AFLAME. Although Vanderhoof prioritised the METAL CHURCH album 'Weight Of The World' that year, he would also fire up PRESTO BALLET. This band would comprise VANDERHOOF colleagues vocalist Damon Albright, bassist Brian Lake and keyboard player Brian Cokeley alongside former METAL CHURCH man Jeff Wade on drums. Subsequently, the intended project evolved into the third VANDERHOOF album.

PRESTO BALLET entered the studio in April 2007 to record a second album.
