MY SISTER'S MACHINE boast membership from Seattle act MISTRUST and even an early incarnation of ALICE IN CHAINS. Vocalist Nick Pollock had been guitarist for ALICE IN CHAINS prior to JERRY CANTRELL. Guitarist Owen Wright and drummer Chris Gohde had been members of MISTRUST.

Gohde later joined LYE the band founded by GRUNTRUCK men bassist Tim Paul and guitarist Tom Niemeyer. During 2002 Pollock would re-surface fronting SOULBENDER, the project band assembled by QUEENSRYCHE guitarist Michael Wilton, Michael Wilton, guitarist Dave Groves and drummer Wes Hallam. SOULBENDER would lay down a seven track EP exclusively for industry promotion purposes.
