San Mateo based Alt-Metal band. In July of 2002 DRIST signed with Spunout Records, the label owned by Steve Harwell of SMASH MOUTH. The 'Bitter Halo' album saw production from Ulrich Wild. DRIST guitarist Josh Stinson shot to prominence in August 2005 when former DAMAGEPLAN vocalist / HALFORD and DIESEL MACHINE guitarist Patrick Lachman unveiled his new band MERCY CLINIC, including Stinson alongside guitarist Brian Harrah of PROFESSIONAL MURDER MUSIC, bassist Steed Najera of TRIPLE SEVEN and the DANZIG and JERRY CANTRELL credited drummer Bevan Davies.
