MURDER was a pioneering Punk-Metal act led by the esteemed figure of former VKTMS singer Nyna Crawford and guitarist Bob Clic of THE LEWD. Post MURDER, Crawford founded SMASHED WEEKEND and reformed VKTMS in 1995. Clic and Sacco would later be found in DIE SIEGER, alongside ex-SABOTAGE guitarist Terry Lauderdale and Dane Petersen from BLOODBATH. He would subsequently work on the live circuit with THE LEWDMOUTHS. Drummer Carl Sacco would join Thrashers METAL CHURCH and HEATHEN.

Nyna Crawford died on 31st May 2000 from ovarian cancer. She was just 44.
