San Francisco Bay Area's MANMADEGOD, emerged with an opening December 1997 demo produced by Eric Kretz of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS. The band feature former FORBIDDEN guitarist Craig Locicero and drummer Steve Jacobs. Second guitarist Ahrue Luster decamped in early 1998 to join MACHINE HEAD. Interestingly, Luster took the riff from the MANMADEGOD demo track 'Crazy People' with him, the guitar pattern subsequently turning up as part of the song 'Nausea' on MACHINE HEAD's 'Supercharger' record.

Signing to American Recordings and the heavyweight Sanctuary Management team the band cut an album originally projected for a May 2002 delivery. Despite production credits going out to Rick Rubin and Brian Dobbs the band would find these sessions shelved. Later reports suggested the album, entitled 'Million Dollar Gun', was set for a January 2003 release date but this date too passed by without issue.

The band engaged in a heavy schedule of North American live action in August of 2003, hooking up with TAPROOT, RA and ACROMA before jumping onboard the ADEMA, POWERMAN 5000 and SPINESHANK tour.

With MANMADEGOD's demise news emerged in April of 2004 that guitarist Craig Locicero, bassist James Walker and drummer Steve Jacobs had united with ex-SYSTEMATIC frontman Tim Narducci in a brand new band venture. By June the group had adopted the revised title of SPIRALARMS. Guitarist Craig Locicero temped for SANGRE ETERNA on a live basis in February 2006.
