PUSHED, created in early 2002, feature the EVIL DEAD, SLAYER and TESTAMENT credited drummer Jon Dette alongside vocalist Travis Neal, former TESTAMENT bassist Greg Christian, guitarist Joe Johnson and keyboard player Griffin. Following release of the 'Iodine' EP both Christian and Johnson were let go. In October 2003 replacements were announced as guitarist Peter Scheithauer, a veteran of KILLING MACHINE, STREAM and BELLADONNA with AGENT STEEL's Juan Garcia handling bass.

In May 2004 PUSHED announced they were to fold. A new act, bearing the title PERSQUAREINCH, then rose up comprising Travis Neal on vocals, the ex-18 BONEZ pairing of Dan Trujillo on guitar and Shane Monaghan on bass with Jared Clayton on drums. Meantime, after Dette's departure from HAVOCHATE, the drummer united with Peter Scheithauer once more, forming up a new band unit in league with vocalist Dave Pullaro and the former SYSTEMATIC and MY RUIN credited bassist Johnny Chow.

By October 2004 vocalist Travis Neal and lead guitarist Joe Johnson had announced the formation of A BREATH OF LIFE, employing live musicians included rhythm guitarist J.P. and drummer Jared Clayton. Early 2005 found Dette's union with Peter Scheithauer morphing into ENEMY OF GOD, a higher profile concern now featuring former MEGADETH bassist Dave Ellefson and Todd Barnes of 13-A on vocals. However, the drummer backed out of this project by April.

PUSHED played a one-off reunion show on Saturday, December 30th 2006 at the Jumping Turtle in San Marcos, California. Although Shane Monaghan was at first announced as bassist for this show the group utilised John Mark Bechtel, of FIREBALL MINISTRY, SYSTEMATIC and MY RUIN repute.
