Pittsburgh Grindcore act. During September of 2003 vocalist Joe Horvath and guitarist Jason Andrews fired up a side venture entitled SLEEPWALKER in union with erstwhile CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN bassist Alf Kooser and members of Pittsburgh act SADIS EUPHORIA. CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN, unable to locate a full time drummer, proceeded on with the services of SADIS EUPHORIA man drummer Mike Bartek. Problems in the percussion department dogged the band into 2004 as well, their drummer breaking his wrist in a snowboarding accident.

CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN re-signed to Willowtip Records for the July 2005 album 'Zero Comfort Margin', produced by TODAY IS THE DAY's Steve Austin. Drummer Mike Bartek was ejected in June 2006 in obviously acrimonious circumstances, the band issuing a statement claiming their erstwhile colleague had "defecated on any concepts of friendship and respect possible and stooped lower than we thought even he would ever go".

CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN added drummer Matt Francis to its line-up in February 2007.
