Operational between 1997 and 1998, Phoenix, Arizona based VENT was formulated by two members of JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford's FIGHT band, guitarist Brian Tilse with bassist Jay Jay (a.k.a. John Brown), in union with STUCK MOJO's Tim Radswell and drummer Don Juan. Pre-FIGHT, Jay Jay had worked with CYANIDE and SATANIC INDUSTRIES LTD. and also has a reputation as a tattooist of distinction, inking Halford, PANTERA's Dimebag Darrell and SLAYER's Kerry King amongst others.

Under the HALFORD billing, Tilse, Jay Jay and Don Juan joined Rob Halford to deliver a one off show at the Phoenix Mason Jar on December 20th 1997 as a benefit for the city's Child Crisis Center's 'Children Of The Desert' charity. In January 2004 Tilse and Jay Jay joined LOLLIPOP LUST KILL, this band unit subsequently adopting a rivised title of GLASS PIPE SUICIDE, cutting demos in 2005.
