Doug Lubahn, previously with CLEAR LIGHT, is probably best known for penning 'Treat Me Right', a track recorded by the likes of PAT BENATAR and others in the early 80's. Indeed, the Lubahn version of the song features on RIFF RAFF's sole album, 'Vinyl Futures'. Guitarist Werner Fritzchings held prior experience as a member of CACTUS. Strangely, the band chose to disguise their faces behind album discs on the rear cover of the record.

Lubahn hooked up with BILLY SQUIER's backing band after the collapse of the Bruce Payne managed RIFF RAFF. Lubahn would also perform on TED NUGENT's 'Penetrator' album.
