LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT is an all instrumental Prog-Rock jam session conducted by the DREAM THEATER duo of guitarist John Petrucci and drummer Mike Portnoy, alongside KING CRIMSON stick bassist Tony Levin and keyboard player JORDAN RUDESS. The albums, unashamedly reliant on extended solos, are generally recognised as displaying the quartet's bewildering talents in a quite unique environment.
