Biography
Long Island, New York-based hard rockers DIRTY RIG debuted with the 'Blood, Sweat And Beer' album The band introduced the high profile figure of former WARRIOR SOUL frontman Kory Clarke as their new frontman in 2005. DIRTY RIG filmed their 11th June show at Club Tundra in Syracuse, New York and September 2nd gig at The Continental in New York City for DVD release.
DIRTY RIG had their track 'Suck It' on the January 2006 Perris Records compilation album 'Hollywood Hairspray Vol. 5'. The group signed to escapi Music in May for a second album 'Rock Did it'. UK tour dates in September saw support from Mexborough's DISARM.
During September 2007 DIRTY RIG parted ways with singer Kory Clarke, stating "they couldn't see eye to eye on several important band issues". He would be replaced by Tom Morrissey. That same month bassist Buckshot exited, the group revealing "The guys in the band begged him not to quit, but he just wasn't committed to DIRTY RIG."
in May 2008 Kory Clarke joined the ranks of veteran Chicago Doom Metal band TROUBLE.
