Biography
East Coast supergroup featuring BURNING STARR / HOLY MOTHER bassist Randy Coven, New York ex TALAS, ASIA, WIDOWMAKER and ALICE COOPER guitar god Al Pitrelli and drummer John O'Reilly, a veteran of major acts such as RAINBOW and BLUE OYSTER CULT.
The C.P.R. album featured former ZEBRA vocalist Randy Jackson and guest roles for KANSAS / DEEP PURPLE guitarist STEVE MORSE, ex OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist ZAKK WYLDE and ex WHITE LION man Vito Bratta (the latter appears on the track titled 'E-11').
The album also offers a cover of AC/DC's 'Back In Black'.
Pitrelli's talents found an almost permanent base in SAVATAGE throughout most of the 90's before a short touring stint with BLUE OYSTER CULT then teaming up with MEGADETH in 2000. Coven later teamed up with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and A.R.K.
