Biography

McBRAIN DAMAGE, announced officially in July of 2004, is a Heavy Metal formation established by longstanding IRON MAIDEN drummer NICKO McBRAIN and the WHITE LION, BLACK SABBATH, GREAT WHITE and NUCLEAR ASSAULT credited bass player Dave Spitz. They would be joined by the DEEPSET pairing of vocalist Jonathan Murphy and guitarist Rick Baum alongside FAILSAFE's Chris Proano on second guitar.

The group had initially performed under the billing of WRATH CHILD for a one off show in South Florida to celebrate the drummer's 52nd birthday on 5th June. Previous to that, McBrain and Spitz, together with the bass player's brother and ex-ANTHRAX guitarist Dan Spitz, had spent 2003 putting together new material.

A live set comprising IRON MAIDEN numbers and original material would be assembled for McBRAIN DAMAGE Summer tour dates.

Both Rick Baum and Dave Spitz were also operational on the live front with BLACK SABBATH tribute band WAR PIGS.
