Biography

As the W. Axl Rose led GUNS N' ROSES made a highly controversial return to live work in 2002 upfront of a massively delayed new album, media attention shifted to the remaining erstwhile Gunners. Slash, DUFF McKAGAN and Matt Sorum founded a fresh band unit and maintained a high profile with a succession of vocalist auditions whilst the original GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler also re-emerged with his new venture - initially billed as ADLER'S APPETITE but soon switching to SUKI JONES. The band's pedigree was unquestionable, featuring RATT and ex-LOVE/HATE singer Jizzy Pearl, ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT and RATT guitarist Keri Kelli, FASTER PUSSYCAT's Brent Muscat on second guitar and former VINCE NEIL and RATT bassist Robbie Crane.

SUKI JONES soon engaged in live work, and stated they would be pulling in BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, TUFF and ENGINES OF AGGRESSION guitarist Michael Thomas as substitute for Muscat, who cited prior FASTER PUSSYCAT commitments, for a rash of East Coast dates in May. However, days after this announcement it was revealed that WARRANT guitarist Erik Turner had in fact stepped up for the job. Apparent confusion amongst fans led the band to revert back to the ADLER'S APPETITE title in early June. By the following month Pearl had been superseded by Sean Crosby from the AC/DC tribute act BACK IN BLACK. Strangely, September US dates saw Pearl fronting the band once more.

ADLER'S APPETITE announced a schedule of European tour dates for the Spring of 2004. However, just prior to these gigs Keri Kelli bowed out in order to join ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman VINCE NEIL's solo band. A quickfire replacement would be found in Michael Thomas, a veteran of ENGINES OF AGGRESSION, ASHBA, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and TUFF. Later US gigs that year, dubbed the 'Bad Boys Of Metal', saw the band hooked up with former QUIET RIOT singer KEVIN DUBROW, ex-WARRANT frontman JANI LANE and openers BANG TANGO.

Pre-production for the first ADLER'S APPETITE album, for Shrapnel Records, commenced in September. East Coast dates in October once more saw a hook up with the BANG TANGO and BEAUTIFUL CREATURES pairing of Joe Leste and Alex Grossi with ex-QUIET RIOT man Chuck Wright on bass. By November the band had decided upon recording an EP, this offering comprising four original tracks plus cover renditions of 'Draw The Line' by AEROSMITH and Obscured' from HANOI ROCKS.

Gigs in Japan during March of 2005 saw Jizzy Pearl substituted BANG TANGO's Joe Leste. Shortly after this announcement it would be confirmed Pearl had left the band, being replaced by Sheldon Tarsha. However, the band, acquiring BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION/ex-L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns - himself a formative GUNS N' ROSES man, then evolved into GUNS N' ROSES REVISITED for a series of August Asian gigs across the Philippines, Singapore, Bali and Indonesia.
