Biography

Former TRILLION vocalist Fergie Frederiksen and ex-THE BABYS bassist Ricky Phillips first teamed up in the last incarnation of ANGEL back in 1981 before heading off in seperate directions. Frederikson's travels took him to one album stints with TOTO and LE ROUX and a solo album released in Scandinavia under the alias of DAVID LONDON issued in 1981.

Phillips turned up in BAD ENGLISH and COVERDALE/PAGE before the idea of working with Frederiksen again was put to him by Magnus Soderkvist, at the time working for the Swedish Empire label.

The bulk of the drumming was recorded by ex-WILD DOGS, BAD ENGLISH and HARDLINE drummer Deen Castranovo, although

YES drummer Alan White makes a guest appearance. Other noted names who appear on the album are ex RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer, former MR. MISTER guitarist Steve Farris, erstwhile WORLD TRADE and UNRULY CHILD men Bruce Gowdy and Guy Allison, MARK FREE, Finnish diva AINA, ex-MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP vocalist ROBIN McAULEY, session veteran Tim Pierce and JOURNEY's NEAL SCHON, who had played with Phillips and Castranovo in BAD ENGLISH

English born guitarist Marcus Nand, who had enjoyed a stint with FREAK OF NATURE by the time the album had been released, also played guitar and co-wrote the track 'Queen Bee' with Phillips.

The album also features two tracks that were surely written during Frederiksen and Phillips' brief tenure with ANGEL in the early 80's as 'Baby Blue' features a Punky Meadows co-writing credit, whilst 'Captured' bears Greg Giuffria's name.
