FIREFLY is the vision of Californian vocalist and multi-instrumentalist John Pratt. Although known in the movie world for soundtrack work Pratt has also worked alongside LITA FORD, JULLIET and KIM CARNES. Pratt would also front his own outfit ROXBURY DRIVE during the 80s.

The 1998 FIREFLY debut 'Where you Gonna Run' paved the way for a second effort 'After The Fire'. Pratt would enlist the aid of an enviable roster of AOR luminaries to record the material including bassist Ricky Phillips of THE BABYS, BAD ENGLISH and FREDERICKSEN/PHILLIPS, Bob Gilles of INNOCENT on guitar, keyboard player Michael Alemania and Ron Wikso of DAVID LEE ROTH's band, FOREIGNER and THE STORM on drums.
