Biography

Eclectic Los Angeles based quintet released a limited edition EP in 1985. Only around 1'000 copies were pressed and most were given away to friends and fans shortly before the band changed direction and became LOVE/HATE with the departure of Rodney Scott to HER OBSESSION. Consequently, Wilkinson and Rose changed their identities, becoming Jizzy Pearl and Skid respectively, whilst Gold switched from the keyboards to drums.

Prior to joining DATA CLAN Wilkinson had briefly been amongst the many frontmen to have had a stint singing for L.A. ROCKS recording a critically acclaimed demo during his time with the Aldy Damien led group. DATA CLAN had parted company with their original vocalist during a tour of Japan and hooked up with Wilkinson and recorded the EP.

Following LOVE/HATE Pearl would journey through the ranks of L.A. GUNS and RATT before re-founding LOVE/HATE in 2000. The singer would also come to the fore as an author, self publishing a series of satirical books about his Rock n' Roll experiences.

Pearl would front RATT for an extensive 2002 North American tour. During late 2005 it was revealed Pearl was fronting 100 PROOF, a band which comprised the internationally known cast comprising Stacey Blades from L.A. GUNS on guitar, Mike Duda of W.A.S.P. on bass and the veteran figure of the AC/DC, THE FIRM, STATUS QUO and URIAH HEEP credited Chris Slade on drums.
