Biography
A studio project put together for the soundtrack to the 'Black Roses' horror flick, BLACK ROSES comprised the nucleus of Italian MASI guitarist Alex Masi, ex QUIET RIOT and GIUFFRIA bassist Chuck Wright and legendary drummer CARMINE APPICE. It was Appice who roped in his former KING KOBRA colleagues vocalist MARK FREE and guitarist Mick Sweda to add to the recordings. Four tracks appear on the official soundtrack album released by Metal Blade in 1988, namely: 'Dance On Fire', Soldiers Of The Night', 'Rock Invasion' and 'Paradise (We're On Our Way)'.
Appice also appears with a revamped KING KOBRA with 'Take It Off' on the album.
