Biography

Trad styled, three guitar powered Heavy Metal out of Long Island band WIND WRAITH, created in August of 2000 by guitarist Patrick Blair, debuted with the self financed album 'The Fortune Teller's Gaze'. WIND WRAITH made a series of major line up changes in the latter half of 2002. The rhythm section of bassist Rob Wittman and drummer George Niesuchouski decamped. Tommy Bollander replaced the exiting Brian Fingerhut on guitar before the latter duly made a return and in December new lead vocalist Johnny James was inducted. Meantime guitarist Patrick Blair, new bass player Brian Hobbie and CATASTROPHIC's Rob Maresca would be active on the club scene with a MISFITS tribute outfit DEVILOCK.

WIND WRAITH pulled in new singer Scott Oliva, a former member of INNER STRENGTH, in late 2002. 'The Fortune Teller's Gaze' would be re-issued in a re-recorded guise for European distribution in 2004 by the German Iron Glory label.
