Biography
FOTOMAKER incorporated the erstwhile THE RASCALS and BULLDOG rhythm section of bass player Gene Cornish and drummer Dino Danelli alongside former RASPBERRIES and TATTOO frontman Wally Bryson. FOTOMAKER was rounded out by guitarist Lex Marchesi and keyboard player Frankie Vinci. Their pedigree soon secured a deal with major label Atlantic Records and an Eddie Kramer produced debut emerged in 1978. FOTOMAKER immediately hit the Billboard singles charts with the track 'Where Have You Been All My Life' and maintained momentum with a second album, 'Vis-À-vis', released before the close of the year. This record too hosted another hit in 'Miles Away'.
However, Bryson decamped to his native Cleveland in 1979. Vinci took over lead vocal responsibilities for 1979's 'Transfer Station' opus.
Cornish subsequently joined G.C. DANGEROUS prior to resurrecting THE RASCALS. Danelli would perform drums on MICHAEL BRUCE's solo albums and act as producer for APRIL WINE.
