Sherwood and Allison joined ex STONE FURY guitarist Bruce Gowdy to form the rather YES influenced WORLD TRADE which split after one album for PolyGram after TREVOR RABIN invited Billy Sherwood to replace JON ANDERSON in YES.

Unfortunately for Sherwood his period of employment in the ranks of YES was very brief and, despite recording demos with the band he was ousted from the group who had kissed and made up with Anderson in the interim.

Sherwood did have two of the songs he co-wrote with YES make an album and he was also given the chance to play keyboards alongside TONY KAYE on the 'Talk' tour.

Gowdy and Allison helped form UNRULY CHILD.

Sherwood pursued a number of solo projects, including the more recent THE KEY and the recording of a second WORLD TRADE album - issued through Magna Carta in 1995 - with Gowdy, Allison and UNRULY CHILD / HURRICANE / AIR PAVILION drummer Jay Schellen.
