Solo works from esteemed AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry. Whilst Perry had struck out solo with the JOE PERRY PROJECT during a period of turmoil in his main act's history, the self-titled 2005 opus would be his first truly solo effort. Live work to promote the record would be confined to ocassional spot gigs although one notable performance, of 'Johnny B. Goode', came on 10th July when Perry entertained a goup of celebrity chefs, including Michael Lomonaco, ''Iron Chef" Masaharu Morimoto and Marlo Fogelman, at the Fancy Food Show in New York. The guitarist was promoting both his album and his custom signature hot-sauce creations — Mango-Peach Tango hot sauce and the "Rock Your World" Boneyard Brew.
