Biography

Although AOR institution SURVIVOR had proven hugely successful throughout the 90s, scoring a crop of major hit singles and platinum albums, the band divided, with guitarist and founder JIM PETERIK and vocalist JIMI JAMISON going their separate ways. As it transpired, the singer bounced back in 1999 with a record, 'Empires', credited to JIMI JAMISON'S SURVIVOR. This record, featuring CREED's Hal Butler and originally released by USG Records, was re-issued on the Italian Frontiers labels in 2003 with two extra tracks.
