Biography

Highly experienced in the classical Metal field, guitarist JACK FROST struck out on the solo path during 2003. Previously Frost had operated a plethora of acts such as SEVEN WITCHES, THE BRONX CASKET CO. and FROSTBITE but made his name in Euope as a member of METALIUM, featuring on the 2000 'State Of Triumph' album, and SAVATAGE. Despite making a keen impression with the Florida act Frost would be unceremoniously ejected, much to the mystification of fans.

In keeping with his prior tradition the debut album was entitled 'Raise Your Fist To Metal'. A swathe of guest artists included vocalists HARRY HESS of Canadian Melodic Rockers HAREM SCAREM, the IMPELLITTERI, WARRIOR, AXEL RUDI PELL and DRIVER credited ROB ROCK, VIRGIN STEELE's David DeFeis, Bobby Lucas from SEVEN WITCHES, OVERLORD and EXHIBITION, former ANNIHILATOR and OVERKILL man Joe Comeau and Steve Braun of AZRA and SILOAM repute. Bass would be delegated to Mike Duda of W.A.S.P.,

Joey Vera from ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING, SEVEN WITCHES and ENGINE with BRITNY FOX's Billy Childs also putting in an unexpected appearance. Drums were manned by ARMORED SAINT and LIFE AFTER DEATH veteran Gonzo with Johnny Dee of WAYSTED, BRITNY FOX and DORO also behind the kit.

It would be announced that Frost was to act as co-producer for Italian Thrash Metal band MERENDINE ATOMICHE's 'Raw' album, recording at New Sin Studios in Treviso, Italy in August 2005. The guitarist also worked up new records for both SEVEN WITCHES and BRONX CASKET COMPANY.

His next solo outing, entitled 'Out In The Cold', simply credited to FROST, featured another high profile casting of Joey Vera, Ted Poley from DANGER DANGER on a cover version of THE BABYS 'Head First', bassist Reverend Jones from BLACK SYMPHONY and the MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, Terri Ilous from XYZ, Jeff Martin from RACER X, drummer Chuck White from WINTERKILL and ION VEIN and Patrik Johansson from the YNGWIE MALMSTEEN band. Ex-ANTHRAX singer NEIL TURBIN vocalised on the track 'Crucifixion'. Also included would be renditions of FOREIGNER's 'Cold As Ice' and APRIL WINE's 'Sign Of The Gypsy Queen'.

Taking time out from his own schedule, Frost acted as producer for MALAKIS REIN's version of 'Hell Is For Heroes' contribution to a LIZZY BORDEN tribute album. In March of 2006 Frost enrolled into the ranks of cult British Heavy Metal band MARSHALL LAW but then left this band without recording a note. Frost joined the Kyle Michaels fronted BIRD OF PREY in December 2006. In March 2007 it was learned that Frost was collaborating with ATTACKER frontman Bob Mitchell on new material for a Heavy Metal covers project dubbed FM, cutting versions of tracks by UFO, GILLAN, ACCEPT and JUDAS PRIEST branded 'Assylum Of Metal'.

Frost added to his wealth of high profile credentials by appearing as second guitarist with LIZZY BORDEN at the April 28th 2007 Metal Blade Records 25th Anniversary Showcase at the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival.
