Biography

Solo outings from former WAYSTED, TYKETTO and FLESH AND BLOOD singer Danny Vaughn, a man widely acknowledged to have a truly startling vocal talent. Initially Vaughn fronted up his solo career with the band VAUGHN. His ex-TYKETTO rhythm section of bassist Jamie Scott and drummer Michael Clayton made up the band with new faces guitarist P.J. Zitarosa and keyboard player Kyle Cummings.

VAUGHN contributed an exclusive live rendition of 'Soldiers And Sailors' to the WDHA radio compilation album 'The Tour Bus- Road Trip' in 2001. VAUGHN would support ASIA in Britain during March and April 2002.

Danny Vaughn assembled an all new and all British touring band in late 2003 comprising CONTAGIOUS guitarist Tony Marshall, second guitarist Pat Heath of PASSION STREET and BRAVE NEW WORLD and the TEN rhythm section of bassist Steve McKenna and drummer Greg Morgan. This unit debuted in March 2004 supporting FIREHOUSE in the UK. A further project found the singer fronting melodic Rock venture FROM THE INSIDE. Vaughn would also form up the reformed classic TYKETTO line-up alongside Michael Clayton, Jimi Kennedy and Brooke St. James reformed for European dates in November 2004. In April of 2005 VAUGHN guitarist Tony Marshall enrolled into the ranks of PRIDE.

News in 2006 revealed that Vaughn's next album, 'Traveller' recorded at Jelly Jam studios in Runcorn, was to be issued under the DANNY VAUGHN title. His band involved British musicians Tony Marshall and Pat Heath on guitars, Steve McKenna on bass and Lee Morris of MARSHALL LAW and PARADISE LOST on drums.

Danny Vaughn supported JOURNEY on their UK 2007 tour dates.
