Previously having operated as SONS OF ANGELS in Japan, having released the 2000 album 'Thrill Of The Feel', the union of guitarist Jun Senoue with ANTHEM and ex-LOUDNESS bassist Naoto Shibata on bass, drummer Hirotsugu Homma on drums of ANTHEM, LOUDNESS and E.Z.O. Vocals came courtesy of HARDLINE and AXEL RUDI PELL singer Johnny Gioeli. To avoid confusion with the Scandinavian act bearing the same band title the record was re-tagged CRUSH 40 for a revised February 2003 version of the album. Newly added would be tracks from the 'Sonic Adventure 2/Battle' Sega videogames, sung by Gioeli along with previously unreleased material 'It Doesn't Matter' taken from 'Sonic Adventure 1' with lead vocals from Tony Harnell of TNT and WESTWORLD repute, as well as 'Escape From The City' off 'Sonic Adventure 2/Battle' featuring both Harnell and DANGER DANGER and MELODICA man Ted Poley.
