A slightly Doom laden Metal band Chicago's FOREVER actually originated in Dayton, Ohio and formed by guitarist Steve McCarley in 1984. The band also issuerd product the same year billed as FOREPLAY.

relocated to Chicago, the band's manager, Jack Manis, took a demo tape with him to the Cannes Music Festival in France a year or so later

The recording impressed the Wolverhampton based Heavy Metal label who promptly signed FOREVER to its Heavy Metal America imprint.

Bassist Ray Burke featured on IMPELLITERRI vocalist ROB ROCK's 2000 solo album and is a member of Metal act WARRIOR.
