Chester Heights, Pennsylvania Death Metal band. DIVINE RAPTURE's eponymous debut would oddly include two separate sessions of recordings of the same songs. A 2001 follow up demo would see engineering credits going to MORBID ANGEL guitarist Erik Rutan. Founded by the Hrubovcak brothers, guitarist J.J. and singer Mike, along with guitarist Babak Davodian later conscripts included former EVIL DIVINE bassist Ryan Moll and drummer Justin DiPinto. Subsequently the latter would enroll with MALEVOLENT CREATION.

The band issued a split CD with HATRED through the Under The Baphomet label during 2002 and announced plans for a further split affair in league with CRANIOTOMY for Immortal Souls Productions. The band would also contribute their version of 'World Of Shit (The Promised Land)' for a MORBID ANGEL tribute album on the Hellspawn imprint and DEATH's 'Pull The Plug' for a Mondongo Canibale Distribution release 'Together As One'. A full length DIVINE RAPTURE album, 'The Burning Passion', was also in production. Drummer Justin DiPinto joined up with Black Metal band INSATANITY during December of 2002. J.J. Hrubovcak subsequently enrolled into the ranks of New Jersey's MOURNING. 2005 saw Babak Davodian joining Jersey City Metalcore band RANDALL FLAGG.

In early 2006 the Hrubovcak siblings joined the ranks of VILE to conduct their 'Gutting Europe' tour during March and April.
