Based in Los Angeles and established during 1989, Hard Rock outfit CARRERA was fronted by Irishman David Montgomery, previously frontman for TILT, and saw erstwhile MADAME X man Mark McConnell on drums. The drummer later joined Wisconsin based act WARP DRIVE but was reunited with his former MADAME X colleague SEBASTIAN BACH for a solo tour in 1997/'98.

By 1999, as DAVID SWAN MONTGOMERY, the singer was fronting the JONAS HANSSON BAND for their album 'The Rocks'. He would later issue a Celtic infused solo album 'New Grange' on Waterark Records. 2005 found Montgomery working with guitarist IAIN ASHLEY HERSEY.
