    Biography

Born a preacher's son in Ogden, Utah, BRYAN DUNCAN led the 70s act SWEET COMFORT BAND over a lengthy career before that trio's demise in 1984. The singer bowed back in with 1985's 'Have Yourself Committed' album marking an entry into a string of albums centred on Christian AOR but often peppered with Rap, Reggae and Duncan's quirky humour. SWEET COMFORT BAND guitarist Randy Thomas guested in the studio and Bob Carlisle of ALLIES gave backing vocals to the 1989 'Strong Medicine' album. Carlisle also made his presence felt on 1991's 'Anonymous Confessions Of A Lunatic Friend', this outing seeing the inclusion of noted session guitarist Tim Pierce, GIANT keyboard player Alan Pasqua and Jeff Porcaro of TOTO manning the drums.

1993's 'Mercy' scored a huge success, landing no less than five number one singles on the mainstream Christian charts. The ballad heavy follow up 'Revival' found erstwhile AMBROSIA vocalist DAVID PACK lending his vocal tones as studio guest, Alan Pasqua once more on keyboards with WHITEHEART and GIANT man Dan Huff donating guitar. For 1995's seasonal 'Christmas Is Jesus' Duncan was once again joined by Huff with the DAVID LEE ROTH band credited Greg Bissonette on the drums and KING OF HEARTS and AIRPLAY's Tommy Funderburk aiding with backing vocals.
