Biography

Damon Johnson was once a guitarist in the group WITNESS, although despite being credited as a band member he did not actually contribute to the recording of the Debbie Davis fronted group's sole album for Arista. The band was featured on a Christmas compilation album for the benefit of Cerebral Palsy in their home state of Alabama. The album featured only bands from Alabama and was only available in that particular state. The band contributed a cover of the old Blues standard 'Merry Christmas Baby'

The second album, 1995's 'Seeds', found BROTHER CANE in a tougher mood musically and the record marked the introduction of new guitarist David Anderson, Roman Glick having moved over to bass in place of the departed Glenn Maxey. 1998 gave rise to the group's long awaited third album, 'Wishpool', produced by Kelly Gray.

Glick guests on JACKYL frontman JESSE JAMES DUPREE's 2000 solo album 'Foot Fetish'. In August of 2004 Damon Johnson joined the ALICE COOPER band. On 10th March BROTHER CANE reunited for their first live performance in over seven years at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham.
