Biography

ASTAROTH, a side endeavour of BRUTALITY personnel vocalist / guitarist Larry Sapp, guitarist Demian Heftal and singer Ken Clarck, released the 1992 promotion recording 'Drowning In Blood', followed by 1993's 'Lost State Of Dreams'. The band recorded their self-produced, debut indie EP in January 1993 at Audio Lab in Tampa, Florida and soon after released a five track cassette. Although the drums on the recording were completed by Tony Laureano, he was replaced shortly after by James Marcinek of NOCTURNUS. Laureano of course held a profile of high esteem in the Death Metal community citing credits with ACHERON, ANGEL CORPSE, MALEVOLENT CREATION, GOD DETHRONED and NILE.

In February of 2004 the band enlisted Doug Spears from DREAMSCAPES OF THE PERVERSE to record drums for an album set for release on Still Dead Productions.
