Biography

With the demise of leading Grunge / Alt-Rock act STONE TEMPLE PILOTS the DeLeo brothers, guitarist Dean and bassist Robert, would also be out on the road, touring as part of JOE WALSH's band. Later, the DeLeo's united with the SANTANA credited Alex Lighterwood on vocals and TOM PETTY band drummer Steve Ferrone for a band entitled FARM FUR.

The DeLeo's band hopping continued throughout the year as August 2005 saw rumours of a union with ex-DAVID LEE ROTH band and THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMONS drummer Ray Luzier and FILTER frontman Richard Patrick coming to fruition, this being confirmed with the announcement of ARMY OF ANYONE. Album recordings would be conducted with the esteemed Bob Ezrin acting as producer.

ARMY OF ANYONE made its live debut with a 93X rooftop set on September 20th at Solera in Minneapolis. That November the band made its presence felt on national television, appearing on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on the 10th, 'Carson Daly' on the 16th and 'Conan O'Brien' on the 20th.

ARMY OF ANYONE headlined the SnoCore Tour with support bands HURT, DROPPING DAYLIGHT and NEUROSONIC throughout February and March 2007.
