ARMED FORCES, a popular draw on the Californian Heavy Metal circuit, issued the 1992 album 'Take On The Nation', released by Bizarre Records in the USA and licensed to Music For Nations in the UK. The band was fronted by Michael Henry, a veteran of AUGUST REDMOON, TERRACUDA and EDEN. The group disbanded in 1996. Michael Henry was diagnosed with cancer in 1988 and sadly passed away on 22nd August 1998.

ARMED FORCES 2003 'No Guts... No Glory!!!' release on the German High Vaultage label comprised tracks from a unreleased album and demo material dating to 1987 and 1995. Drummer Gene McEwen would later feature in PROJECT STEIGER and STEEL PROPHET. McEwen joined ex-ANTHRAX singer NEIL TURBIN's live band in June 2005.
