3RD STAGE ALERT, featuring STEELER drummer MARK EDWARDS, first came to prominence on the Metal Blade 'Metal Massacre II' compilation album with the track 'Metal Invader'. Their subsequent solitary album, a December 1984 eponymous effort, was notable for being produced by none other than YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. The Swedish guitar hero would also session on the track 'Adagio'. HELLION's Ann Boleyn would also aid in the studio contributing backing vocals.

Rhythm guitarist Guilio Lomma and drummer Mark Edwards went on to form GUILLOTINE, releasing a 1989 album. Edwards also issued a 1985 instrumental mini album 'Code Of Honor' featuring an all star cast. Other sessions for Edwards included also playing on BURNING STARR's 1986 album 'No Turning Back' and had a brief tenure with RIOT and later joined LION. At the turn of the millennium Edwards was working as a stock broker in Dallas, Texas.
