ZILLION signed a deal with the French Axe Killer label in 1985 after impressing with a critically acclaimed demo tape. The group, comprising singer Mark Anthony alongside guitarist Johnny 'Angel' Andrews, bassist Vinny 'Rockman' Mele and drummer MIKE TERRANA, had become a popular draw on the Buffalo, New York club circuit, playing shows with local favourites TALAS and visiting outfits like HELIX and RATT playing a melodic, yet powerful form of Heavy Metal. Andrews replaced Mitch Perry in TALAS during 1984 and later recorded an album with his Buffalo based Glam outfit ROCK CANDY in 1988.

Mike Terrana would become something of a sought after commodity in Rock circles. The drummer joined Canadian outfit HANOVER FIST for tor work in 1986 and became a member of the WTG signed BEAU NASTY in 1989. In the 90's he would be playing with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and by 2000 he had travelled through ARTENSION to METALIUM and AXEL RUDI PELL's band to join German veterans RAGE.

Terrana would resurrect the ZILLION project in 2004 for an all new album through Frontiers Records. Newly established in Germany the new look band also featured SUPARED vocalist / guitarist Sandro Giampietro and bassist Jens Becker of GRAVE DIGGER, RUNNING WILD and KINGDOM COME repute. Mike Terrana joined the ranks of MASTERPLAN in October.
