VINNIE VINCENT

Biography

Lead guitarist VINNIE VINCENT (a.k.a. Vincent Cusano) was held in high regard by his peers as he made his name for himself with KISS on the 'Creatures Of The Night' and 'Lick It Up' albums and his later band project the VINNIE VINCENT INVASION. Following the latter's 'All Systems Go' opus Vincent mysteriously vanished from the scene. A third proposed VINNIE VINCENT INVASION album to be titled 'Guitarmageddon' was cut but never released.

Vincent made a low key return with the 1996 'Euphoria' four track EP issued on his own Metaluna imprint. Lead vocals came courtesy of erstwhile VINNIE VINCENT INVASION and JOURNEY singer ROBERT FLEISCHMANN. A full-length album 'Archives, Volume 1- Speedball Jam' was announced for 2002 release. When it emerged the 'album' transpired to be a 70 minute collection of solos and rehearsals with bassist Dana Strum and drummer Bobby Rock plus a live take of the instrumental 'Speedball Jam'.

In 2008 it was announced that artists had collaborated to honour the guitarist with a collection dubbed 'Kiss My Ankh: A Tribute To Vinnie Vincent' issued through Splitscreen Entertainment.
