THE SIGN is a latter day AOR supergroup assembled by Frontiers Records. Although THE SIGN were led by the renowned former KANSAS and STRANGEWAYS vocalist TERRY BROCK the band also boasted accomplished vocalists Randy Jackson of ZEBRA, CHINA RAIN with AMERICAN TEARS, DRIVE, SHE SAID and TOUCH's Mark Mangold. THE SIGN's rhythm section comprised KANSAS and STREETS bassist BILLY GREER and ex-RAINBOW and BLACK SABBATH drummer Bobby Rondinelli. For live work in 2000 THE SIGN pulled in erstwhile DIO, GREAT WHITE and VIRGIN STEELE bassist Teddy Cook and drummer Andy Bigan.

Greer issued a solo album 'Seventh Key' in 2000. TERRY BROCK's band mates turned out in force for his 2001 solo album 'Back To Eden' with Jackson, Greer, Bigan and Cook all donating their services.

During mid 2002 Teddy Cook featured as part of an all star HEART tribute band BAD ANIMALS including ATRIUM and FLIGHT 19 vocalist Deana, erstwhile TWISTED SISTER guitarist Marc 'The Animal' Mendoza, former ENVY, VIXEN and POISON DOLLYS guitarist Gina Stile and drummer John Macaluso, a veteran of ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TNT and RIOT.

Brock, Jackson and Mangold re-convened for a further album recording for THE SIGN in the latter half of 2002, billed 'The Second Coming' and continuing the debut's conceptual theme around the story of Aryon. They would be joined by TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Jon Bivona and bassist Mark Hermann.
