Biography

Former VYNDYKATOR, SLEEPY HOLLOW and ATTACKER vocalist Bob Mitchell cut an album of Classic Rock cover versions for release in 2009 credited to THE BOB MITCHELL BAND. Included would be renditions of DEEP PURPLE's 'Maybe I'm A Leo', THE WHO's 'The Seeker', KROKUS' 'Stayed Awake All Night', WHITESNAKE's 'Child Of Babylon', LED ZEPPELIN's 'No Quarter' and QUEEN's 'Tie Your Mother Down'. Recording sessions for 'Days Gone By' were wrapped up on 27th December 2008 at Digi-Force Studio in Bayonne, New Jersey. Core musicians featured bassist Mike LePond, of SYMPHONY X, and guitarist Frank Oquendo, of DENIM AND LEATHER. Proceeds from CD and digital sales were donated to charity, with the beneficiaries being the American Heart Association and the Christ Hospital Foundation.

For live performances Mitchell, LePond and Oquendo were joined by drummer John Osterman, of HANZEL UND GRETYL and ENGINES OF AGGRESSION.
