ROSEWATER is the 2004 founded project of MASI, ANIMAL, BIRD OF PREY, the GEEZER BUTLER BAND and RAVAGE credited vocalist Kyle Michaels. The singer had hooked up with the DAVID SHANKLE GROUP earlier that same year but soon moved on, duly forging his own ROSEWATER project. Collaborators would include former FIERCE HEART, WHITECROSS and KING JAMES guitarist REX CARROLL and the veteran figure of MIKE TERRANA on drums, a man with a tradition tracking through BEAU NASTY, HANOVER FIST, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, AXEL RUDI PELL, METALIUM and RAGE.

Michaels re-forged BIRD OF PREY in May of 2005, for this project being joined by guitarist Andrew Haller, bassist Danny Weymouth and percussionist Gregg Potter.
