During 2008 guitarist Josh Ramos, a veteran player associated with acts such as LE MANS, HARDLINE, RAMOS, TWO FIRES and THE STORM, hooked up with the HUGO, OPEN SKYZ and VALENTINE credited vocalist Hugo to convene RAMOS-HUGO for an October album 'The Dream'.

They would be joined in the studio by some equally illustrious names on the Melodic Rock scene in bassist Fabrizio Grossi, of the GLENN HUGHES band, the TAKARA credited keyboard player Eric Ragno and journeyman drummer John Macaluso, a man citing credits with TNT, HOLY MOTHER, POWERMAD, STARBREAKER, RIOT and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. Grossi produced the sessions, which were mixed by PINK CREAM 69 bassist Dennis Ward.
