Solo outing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania born ROYAL HUNT vocalist. Cooper's distinctive vocal had done much to further the career of the Danish melodic Metal act and it came as a surprise to many fans when he left the fold. Pre ROYAL HUNT Cooper had been one of the finalists in auditions for the position of vocalist with JUDAS PRIEST. His 1999 solo album, produced by PINK CREAM 69 bassist Dennis Ward, would witness a studio band line-up of CONCEPTION guitarist Tore Østby, PINK CREAM 69 drummer Kosta Zafiriou and VANDEN PLAS keyboard player Günther Werno. Cooper repaid the services to PINK CREAM 69 by contributing to their album 'Electrified'. Promoting the album in Japan, where it was released in December 1998 by the JVC Victor label, Cooper performed a batch of acoustic shows in union with PINK CREAM 69 guitarist Alfred Koffler. Shortly after the album released Cooper was fired from ROYAL HUNT.

In 2000 Cooper would form an alliance with SINNER and THE SYGNET guitarist Alex Beyroth to create SILENT FORCE. Still maintaining his SILENT FORCE role, in February of 2004 Cooper established a fresh project entitled ALFA-DOG with guitarist Gary Wehrkamp of SHADOW GALLERY and drummer Mark Zonder of FATES WARNING repute.

In December 2005 Cooper guested for Greek Electronica Metal band DOL AMMAD's new album recordings, featuring on the track 'Aquatic Majesty'. The following year found the singer fronting AMARAN'S PLIGHT, a Progressive Metal project featuring ex-ROYAL HUNT and SILENT FORCE, guitarist Gary Wehrkamp, of SHADOW GALLERY, bassist Kurt Barabas, from UNDER THE SUN, and drummer Nick D'Virgilio, of SPOCK'S BEARD for a debut album, 'Voice In The Light'.
